I'm running MMS on a Windows Server 2003 Standard machine that is also running IIS 6.0. We have built a website that streams presentations from the MMS server to the IIS server (on the same box) In the last week or so, streaming has stopped working on
all updated versions of IE. The files being streamed were created with the latest version of Windows Media Encoder. The streaming works fine on FireFox and older versions of IE.
Also, around the same time, we had an issue begin of ASP pages crashing. It appears that variables are being dropped somewhere.
Can anyone help.

I had pretty much narrowed the IE MMS problem down to an IE Update. I'm not sure which update it is, but here is some information that I have on it. I have a computer running IE 6 with updates Q837009, Q832894, Q831167, 867801, Q823353, and Q833989. This
IE can stream MMS without any issue. A second computer has all of those plus SP1, Q818529, Q330994, Q822925, Q828750, Q824145 and Q903235.
If you know of any issue with the new updates or know the correct forum for me to post this in, please let me know.
As far as the ASP crashing goes, it gives no error. It just seems to hang, throws no errors, and the server can still run plain HTML just fine. Restarting the WWW service, or the computer, will solve the problem. Problem is that if the server is not accessed
for a given period of time (Approx. 1 hour), it will freeze up. Also, if you just let is sit and don't restart the services, its like it clears itself out after about 1 hour.

Is there anything relevant appearing in the server's System or Application event logs? You could also try Debug Diagnostics.
