  • Re: SSL offloading

    Hi Sherrrrrrrr,

if you enable SSL offloading even though the requests from client to ARR server will be over https but while forwarding the requests to backend servers this will happen over http.

If I disabled the configuration, what will make the difference in content server

Then you may need to set SSL certificate for each server in the backend.

The certificate will be authenticated by reverse proxy server or content server?

It should be authenticated in ARR server. If ssl offloading is disabled, then content server may need to authenticate the certificate as well.

How could I configure the certificate between client proxy server nad content server.

It is recommended to enable SSL-offloading so that you just need to configure the certificate between client and ARR server. The https request will become HTTP request to the backend.

Otherwise, you may need to configure the SSL between content server and backend server as well.

    Best Regards,
