Recently I have been asked to connect to an IIS nano server from IIS manager of another Windows server and despite all my efforts I couldn't get any results. I am able to connect remotely to an IIS that has been installed on Windows Server Core but when IIS is installed on Windows nano the same approach can not be applied. the IIS on nano server works perfectly fine using cmdlets in powershell but I want to be able to manage it remotely if it's possible. I appreciate it if you can help me.

Nano server does not support .NET Framework. Therefore, the remote management service cannot work there, and you cannot use IIS Manager to connect to it. PowerShell cmdlets or the new IIS Administration API is your only option, https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/benjaminperkins/2017/05/02/how-to-connect-and-configure-iis-running-on-nano/
