    Hi everyone,

    there is following situation:

    • - we have domaine server (SERVER1) runnig SBS 2011, MS Exchange 2010 and IIS 7 with one website and SSL certificate assigned to it.
    • - there is also another server (SERVER2) inside domaine network running Win Server 2012 R2 and IIS 8 with another website and SSL Certificate assigned to it as well.

The problem is that when i go to website on SERVER2 it gives me a common name error, because it shows certificate name from SERVER1.

Where should i look for this problem? Maybe someone coud give a hint.

    Thanks

    Hi Nick Wilde,

SSL common name mismatch error occurs when there is a mismatch between the domain name and the SAN or common name of the SSL certificate.

To fix this error identify the type of SSL certificate installed for your website on the server.then you must analyze why someone intending to visit some other domain got routed to your website.study the details of your SSL certificate and analyze the other domain names listed as a SAN.
