    Hi,

On my install, 'IIS Logging' is not naming the log files properly when both ANSI and "Log File Only" is selected. Preface should be "ex" according to IIS docs. Instead we get the UTF-8 preface of 'u_ex'.

It works as it should when ANSI and "Both log file and ETW event" is selected. We get logs prefaced by "ex".

    Hi,

I have tried in IIS 8.5.

If Encoding is ANSI,both "Log file only" and "Both log file and ETW event" is selected,IIS Log name preface of "ex".

If Encoding is UTF-8, IIS Log name preface of "u_ex".

Based on your description, I suggest you to restart site after changing the Encoding and then visit site.

    Regards,
