    Good afternoon.
Switched to FastCgi and php 5.3.19, now in problems where there is 15 processes php-cgi.exe, most with small memory usage, but two take all the memory, one about 2GB, 1.5GB second, given that the chervere all 4GB (32bit) is naturally less. On IIS is a great forum statistics for it, the system banner and with ten small sites. Before that, there was a php 5.1 isapi. Setting FastCgi do as described here the only thing that did not work, no script, even after the full path, and not quite sure where it was necessary to insert options - InstanceMaxRequests: 10000 and PHP_FCGI_MAX_REQUESTS: 10 000

    6400 Core2 4GB RAM
    Win 2003
    R2
    IIS6 PHP 5.3.19 FastCgi
downloaded from the article (probably 1.5)
    WinCache 1.1.0630.0

Please note that memory is eaten by php-cgi.exe, which is not the IIS FastCGI handler, but PHP FastCGI executable.

To troubleshoot why this executable behaves like that, you should post to

    http://forums.iis.net/1102.aspx

    Or a PHP general forum.
