We have a shared hosting environment (Windows Server 2003 R2) in which we're hosting many websites for different customers. Recently we're getting requests to provide ability to have custom php.ini to different websites. Currently server is installed with PHP version 5.2.1 (C:\PHP\php.ini) but I'm not sure how would it be possible to use it for multiple websites... So could someone elaborate how can we have custom php.ini for each website in shared hosting environment? Thanks,

    Hi,

To start with PHP does support per {Web Site}  {user} settings.

Your Administration of the  hosting and envionment can be controlled with Web Site Panel

http://www.websitepanel.net/ download  the installer for the tool.

The Web Site panel supports "Windows Server 2003 R2 any edition, 32 and 64 bits" systems.

You should read the Documentation for basic settings and configuration.

The Web Site Panel guide for PHP is here http://www.websitepanel.net/kb/installing-php-4.x-and-php-5.x-on-the-same-server .

Mertin, Thanks for your reply. We're using Helm control panel from Paralels Plesk. So we certainly don't want to install another hosting control panel like "WebsitePanel". My question is how the PHP configuration should be in order to support per {Web Site} settings. I've already have "c:\php5\php.ini" in my server

    Hi,

So your doing the hosting with Helm Control and plesk..

Then check IIS Net learning library guide http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/745/enable-per-site-php-configuration-on-iis-7-and-iis-60/

    for configuration.

If the Plesk allows at install of PHP mananger for the configuration  http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/944/using-php-manager-for-iis-to-setup-and-configure-php/ .
