  • xp pro iis 5.1 asks for uname and password

    Hello, Im new to IIS. Any help is appreciated. Just installed IIS 5.1. When I type in http://localhost a box pops up requesting name and password. This is all being performed on a stand alone machine. Any ideas as to what to do? thanks

  • Problem with IIS redirecting 404 to ASPX file

    I've got an ASP.NET site that has some issues with IIS and loading the ASPX page when it redirects the status code 404. IIS is set to redirect 404 errors to Error404.aspx.
