Unable to connect -- An Authentication error

I'm getting the exact error described in this kb article , and have now restarted IIS about 5,000 times as well as checking the Directory Security settings and deleted the asp.net temp folders almost as many. ACL permissions on files, folders, aspx pages, dlls etc. in IIS 6

I would like to know if there's any direction eg. documents or anything that gives an idea of how ACL permissions are to be set up on files, folders, aspx pages and dlls in IIS 6. I am trying to print a pdf through a com object in an ASP.NET 2.0 page. It's a report that will be emailed to the user. When I run the process through the VWD debugger, it works fine (com object runs under my username). When I put the aspx page into my live environment, it hangs on the printing step...
