Hi all, I have a question regarding client certificates that hasn't been quite answered yet. I'd like to set up an IIS6 server with SSL and a client certificate. But I would like to create the certificate with custom information, and for use on the internet (!). Ofcourse I preffer not to pay...

Does IIS 7.0 support 256-Bit SSL?

Let's say embedded.htm has an embedded player playing some.wmv. Both files are in the root. Then: https://mysite/embedded.htm WORKS http://mysite/embedded.htm WORKS http://mysite/some.wmv WORKS https://mysite/some.wmv FAILS - WMP opens, tries to load the file, then says there's been a network...

Thank you for your response. The kb doc wasn't really helpful because I believe I'm beyond that point though I appreciate you sending it. The webservice works fine via a soap call from ASP 3.0 when <allow users="*" />. I am unable to secure it however - which is what i'm working...

SSL 2.0

Are there any known vulnerabilities for SSL 2.0 that would warrant disabling it and only allowing SSL 3.0?

If you were planning to move to IIS7 then the new extensibility would allow you to write native module...
