Hi all, I have a question regarding client certificates that hasn't been quite answered yet. I'd like to set up an IIS6 server with SSL and a client certificate. But I would like to create the certificate with custom information, and for use on the internet (!). Ofcourse I preffer not to pay...

However, when our IIS 5.0 (Win 2000 Server) server died, I setup IIS 5.0 on WinXP as a temporary server, and this temp. server exhibited the same lack of functionality (no .wmv over https). Let's say embedded.htm has an embedded player playing some.wmv. Both files are in the root. Then: https://mysite/embedded.htm WORKS http://mysite/embedded.htm WORKS http://mysite/some.wmv WORKS https://mysite/some.wmv FAILS - WMP opens, tries to load the file, then says there's been a network...
