    URL Rewrite is cache friendly, meaning that for frequently hit URLs the redirection will happen really fast, a hashtable look up and then a native Redirect call. Expect great performance.

  • FTP client times out on directory change

    Every time I connect to my ftp server, the connection initially works fine but if I click on any directory the client times out the first time. If I wait until after I get the error, then try again it will work. I am using IIS6 for the ftp and filezilla for the client. This is how the filezilla reports...

  • Website not responding

    My webserver which is hosting multiple site on IIS 6.0 is getting stucked after few hours..the static pages is coming from webserver but the pages whic are dynamic is not responding..it again comes up only when we recycle the Application pool for the sites from IIS..   • Will there be performance gain by removing app pools which are not associated with any websites ?

    I just realised that there are few application pools running on the web server and not associated with any web site.? By removing those app pools will there be any performance gain ? Thanks !
