    Thanks, for liking the post as well as helping answer my question. I get your scenario now, we could extend httpd logic to give complete entries or even complete playlists. Do you know how you would use that feature? Do you have a scenario in mind? Also, I am really happy to see you using Web Playlists...

    Great, you are just one step away. Go to Playlist UI main page Click on Edit Feature Settings Check the "allow absolute URLs" check box This should fix the 404 error. This is a security feature for shared hosters.
