  • IIS not logging web site visits

    Using IIS 6 on Win 2003 server. I moved the log files for several web sites from c:\windows\system32\logfiles to another disk with more space (D:\iislogs). Now IIS does not log visits to those sites. The logging is setup for daily log files, and it does not create new files or add data to old files....

  • Re: URL rewriting and log files

    URL rewrite module does not do anything special with IIS logging. Note that with URL rewriting the log file will contain URLs that were originally requested by browser; before any rewriting happened.

  • Double logging. Possible?

    Hi all! I was wondering whether it is possible for an IIS server to maintain both a server-wide log and per-site logs? I know that logging every hit twice will make some serious impact on the performance, but I would like to know whether it is possible nonetheless... ;-)
