Hi All, I'm having an odd problem creating a new application pool. Nothing happens. errr... that's about the sum of it! I right click on 'Application Pool' -> New -> 'Application Pool' - Give it a name, press [OK], the box disappears, and nothing happens. Nothing appears...

I understand the problem, but I can't find the culprit. Is ther an easy, ugly, brute-force method for finding the problem ? Server running 2K3 rev1. Roughly 150 diff websites, some with multiple app Roots. Mixture of .Net 1.1 and 2.0. Split among 20 App Pools. The error as logged gives no indication...
