    Please run the following command and then recycle the application domain (or run the command iisreset.exe): reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\InetStp\Rewrite /v RewriteCacheEnabled /t REG_DWORD /d 0 Please let me know if it works. Thanks.

    1) CTP release of URL rewrite module is not compatible with kernel mode caching. Basically the module disables the kernel caching when URL gets rewritten. We are planning to provide support for kernel mode caching in beta release of the module. 2) There are no plans to support RewriteBase directive....

    We really do need a separate KB article to articulate this more clearly. This information is in the whitepaper, but obviously not clear enough. You need to turn the "notification-based" caching off on IIS to get this to work. You need to do this for the Static file cache and for the ASP file...
