    Could you check if rewrite module provider is registered in administration.config file located in %WINDIR%\system32\inetsrv\config? The reasons why the UI does not appear may be: The module provider is not registered in administration.config in moduleproviders section. CurrentBinding protocols is different...

    The module should work fine on Vista SP1 and the UI should be available after installation. Have you tried to run the installer for the module in repair mode (from Add/Remove Programs UI)?

    Thanks for your feedback on this. The rules list UI is implemented this way to be consistent with all the other places in IIS manager where ordered lists are used (for example handler mappings or modules). However, I can see the reasons why one would want to always work with the ordered list for rewrite...

    You're right, the current self-signed certificates UI doesn't allow you to specify the website address or DNS entry for the website. This is sorta by design. Even if you were to specify the correct website name from within the wizard, you still have the problem that you server is not a trusted...
