Do you see the odd behavior on boxes >= W2K ?

just sent the registry key to your e-mail. This one the cpu utilization does not spike, the server is NT4, i will try to send you the export from the one that spikes the cpu.

That's odd.....does it happen when you omit DISTINCT? Any chance you can dump that key to a .reg file and send it to me?

I am running a test query right now: after 15 minutes: cpu is 80-90% CPU time: 15min, memory 3672/6628 VM (mem usage increasing by 8k per second), page faults 42,404,011 PF delta average 14,000 This seems pretty crazy.
