Associating existing SSL Certificate to a web site

How can I tell if I'm on IIS6 or IIS7 in Global.asax?

Is there anyway to tell from within Application_EndRequest in Global.asax whether the app is on an IIS6 or IIS7 server? And in what mode if IIS7?
