    Using only the command line, it is difficult to do something like apply serious business logic.  Given the fact that from the com object, you can do anything you want to with your code, I thinkn most people consider that to enable flexibility.   my $.02

    The only way I could use the logparser API for multiple passes, was to use a text file to dump the 1st set of results into. I couldn't find a way for the API to read from a recordset or similar. Muffy
