    Why not use wget (free - GPLed) or something similar ? IE is very expensive and "taskkill" is not the optimal way to do this.

    What if shutdown limit of app pool is not longer enough to allow new app pool to fully load ? I mean while application recycling the current app pool will be in action untill new app pool is fully loaded.Now my question is what happens if the current app pool shut down even before new app pool is fully...

    This could be the result of any number of things. It could be the applications are leaking memory or the cache isn't being cleared fast enough.
