Hello, is it possible to lo store logs generated by advanced logging to database? I have found that default ii7 logging does not support this feature, but I did not find information if it is or it is not possible in advanced logging. Regards, Sebastian

  • Logging POST - file upload

Guys, I've read the Advanced Logging walktrought but I can't seem to make it work for the logging of file uploads. The walkthrough mentions streaming a lot which isn't applicable to our enviroment. My site is using a form in which I can select files which will be uploaded via a post command...

Hey Vishal, I just started delving into Silverlight development, it may be a stretch, but is there any way I could get a peek at the source code of the logging player so I can tinker around with it? Thanks!

The user session field could be logged using Advanced Logging and that could help you isolate a session...

  • Re: Initial thoughts on Advanced logging

Hi Steve Some excellent thoughts. We have considered analytics but we took the step to enable it than to solve it with Advanced Logging. There are couple of Advance Logging features that might help here (I would love to hear your thoughts): We are logging in W3C standard logs, this means most tools out...

  • Re: log POST-data (the data in the request body)

Hi, With Advanced Logging, you can save POST data in a log file, if you send it back in a supported format. For example, if you have some values you need to capture in logs and your client sends them in the format below, they could be logged. There is not restriction on the number of fields that can...
