ASP.NET configuration error

I have just installed ASP.NET 1.1. OS is XP with SP 2. IIS is 7.0. I have installed IIS but I couldn't browse it says the following error " This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying."...
