I'm just about to link to the download page for the IIS 7 providers for PowerShell, at http://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/powershell. At the bottom of the page, however, the downloads are labelled "Download Advanced Logging 1.0". This is wrong, and will
confuse my users.
(edit: just noticed that this is in the wrong forum; can someone move it for me, please?)
This is the 'Windows Powershell Snap-in for IIS 7.0" page
http://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/powershell#additionalDownloads
The title of the Downloads section (at the bottom of the page) is badly titled.
It currently reads 'Download Advanced Logging 1.0',
It *should* read 'Download Powershell Snap-in' ... or similar.
I agree, it's misleading. It's a long way down from the title - I thought I'd somehow opened the 'Advanced Logging' page by mistake.
The WinPI/ x64 / x86 links in that section appear to be correct - i.e., they are correctly linked to the IIS7 Powershell Provider msi packages.
But I had to follow the links (trigger the download) to confirm that they retrieved the powershell snap-in packages, and not the advanced logging module.

What are you trying to link to? That is the page to install the extension...
