I’ve scoured the Web and cannot find a solution. WebMatrix 2 will not install on my Windows 7 laptop computer. On repeated attempts, I get an error: The location of the Document folder could not be determined. The application is unable to continue and will
exit. – then shuts down. I'm an adminstrator on the laptop and I've tried installing it manually with the same results. Can anyone help?
I uninstalled both apps and reinstalled with the same resulting error. I can't confirm that "My Web sites" and "IISExpress" folder is there becuase I'm uncertain of the location of %userprofile%\documents. If you're refering to the Windows 7 C:\Users profiles,
there is no folder named documents. There's a folder named My Documents and it does not contain these folder names.

The default document folder is located at %userprofile%\documents . Please check if you have "My Web sites" and "IISExpress" folder there.
Also ,please try: uninstall IISExpress and webmatrix then reinstall your webmatrix.
