I have IIS up and running and a few websites on my local computer. Can I copy these virtual directories and port settings etc to another?
Of do I have to manually recreate the Virtual directories and modify the port numbers etc? Does that make sense....Sorry for teh stupid question I am very green to this. For the most part I dont even remember how I did it in the first place, Create the
Virtual directorys and changing the port numbers etc....
Any help woudl be greatly appreciate...many even how to do this from scratch again....create the web site, Create the Virtual folders, Change the Port Number so I can place a few web sites in the one IIS....
I agree with Lyodz. If you use the Web Deployment tool, you can publish a website along with the IIS settings you've used. Google/Bing for the "Web Deployment tool" (without quotes) and you will get lot of tutorials/articles about it.
