I run a Remote Desktop Gateway on Server 2008 R2 and if you put in the server address without "/rdweb" on the end you get a default page telling you that the server is running IIS 7 etc. Is it possible to disabler this document or set up IIS so that if "/rdweb"
hasn't been included on the end then it either throws up a site error or preferably redirects to the "/rdweb" page? I know this seems a small thing, to my mind if a server is running RD Gateway then it must be running IIS but my MD wants the page disabled
following a network evaluation carried out recently. Also is there anywhere that lists the best practices for IIS and preferably some information in how to carry them out? Regards, AStaley.
