  IIS Error: the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion

  Getting this error while trying to start IIS Default web site.

   IIS Admin service is already running.

   

  Please help.

  Please check the Event log and post the errors your getting.

  Post the details in the Forum.

  Your having problems with the IIS Default web site.

  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/820729 check the http.sys logs for IIS Server.

  Please post more information about the IIS Server and Windows.
