  Has anybody any advice on the best way to produce reports from an FTP log file. (IIS 6)

  Hi,

  I do not know of the "Best Way" per say and Reports can be many "Flavors" and types.

  Check this http://forums.iis.net/p/1178308/1982682.aspx#1982682 Thread for logparser and charting.

  Wikipedia Reference for FTP  Retun Codes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_FTP_server_return_codes .

  You can Search (Google or Bing) for Microsoft Support FTP Status codes to get status for a version of FTP

  the RFC defined ones work well.

  You might Search the IIS Team blog posts by Robert McMurray he has done a lot with FTP :).

  Have you installed the Log Parser ?

  You might try Roberts McMurrays Example for FTP to test
