I am essentially trying to stream a live video capture device to the smooth streaming client on IIS 7. The publishing point is set up on IIS 7 and starts properly. When I enter the information into the location (http://localhost......)
and press start to begin encoding, I get the error message ''The specified Push Template is Invalid). I have no idea on how to fix the problem and any help would be great.
The issue you are describing ocurrs when the URL of the publishing point used in the encoder is not correct or when the publishing point url does not exist. Verify the pub point url (do not include the /manifest on the encoder).

Hi,
The issue you are describing ocurrs when the URL of the publishing point used in the encoder is not correct or when the publishing point url does not exist. Verify the pub point url (do not include the /manifest on the encoder).
Please let me know if this helps.
