Enabling external access to IIS 7 Hosted Site...

I have recently installed Windows 7 with IIS 7. I have a website set up on the box that I want to allow public access to. I am certainly used to the IIS5 and 6 world and not so much IIS 7.
I have opened the port on my router and directed it the proper internal IP. I have confirmed with my ISP that the port is open on their end (not blocked) and I have opened up HTTP requests within the Windows 7 Firewall.
Yet when I try to access the website externally (read: not on the local machine), I can never get through. In fact it is almost as if IIS is not there.
Do I need to configure something else in Windows 7 or IIS 7 to allow my website to be open to the public?
Thank you so much in advance, I have been searching on this one for hours and hours.

Well there are several factors involved here,
like does your web site resolves to server/box IP on which its hosted ?
are you able to telnet server with port 80 ?
are there any anti virus or firewall active on it ? you may need to enable HTTP traffic in it, some anti virus may block HTTP traffic,
try to tracert and check if connection is establishes successfully with following command -
where domain.com is the actual domain name in question.
For investigation disable Default Windows firewall and try again(make sure you enable it after testing),
check for server DNS resolver,
