Guys, I wonder why is the .net framework 3.5 sp1 installed and it does not show up in ISAPI and CGI restriction setting? I have enabled the .net framework 3.5 feature in windows 2008 r2 and it has been verified the registry key value is exist. But it still
does not show up in ISAPI and CGI restriction setting. I guess it suppose to show up since under ISAPI and CGI restriction, it has appeared the previous version of .net framework in the listing. Now my question is does .net framework 3.5 suppose to show under
ISAPI and CGI after installed? or it has configuration need to be done? Please advice. Thanks,
Hi Leo Tang, Thanks for the replied.. I have got to know from my application team, they having difficulty of integrating the web application from windows 2003 32bit IIS server to windows 2008r2 64bit.. The error msg is "Could not load file or assembly 'System.Core,
Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified." Any idea of what is that mean??

Hi,
The .NET Framework 3.X is the extension of .NET Framework2.0. Hence, there is no additional ISAP and CGI restriction setting, it will works for you.
