I have a WCF service application which was written in C# and references a C++ library and IBMWebsphere MQ library. This application has been running on a 32-bit Microsoft 2003 Server under IIS v6 more than a
year. We are trying to move it to this new 64-bit IIS v7.0 Windows 2008 Server.
HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Software Artisans\FileUp\FileUpIsapi.dll" tried to register for SF_NOTIFY_READ_RAW_DATA notification
I am not sure if the C++ application or the IBM Websphere MQ ddl is usingis the IFileUpIsapi.dll . Microsoft says "Do not use the ISAPI filter that registers for the SF_NOTIFY_READ_RAW_DATA notification in IIS 7.0. ". in this post
But I am not sure how this filter can be disabled.
Any input is appreciated..

Make sure that you understand XML format. Then open %windir%\system32\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.config and comment out tags related to FileUpIsapi.dll.
After that you can test if anything fails to work correctly. Who ever breaks is the one you need to go after.

This error message was appearing even if I delete all my files from the bin folder. I created a simple HelloWorld web service. I got the same error trying to display it.
Turned out that somebody installed Software Artisan's FileUp v4 on the server. This version only supports IIS 6. Once we uninstalled it, I started getting meaningful responses from the IIS
But you gave me the idea of finding out if this error is related to my application at all.
Thank you so much for your help..
