    IIS Query

I have Windows 2003 Server with IIS installed on it. I have forwarded Public IP to this server. And I am making new website for each new website. So from out side our local lan it can browse by Public URL for example if I make new website called xyz.com, it can be browse by www.xyz.com from outside our local lan. And if we have internet in our lan we can also browse with same URL.

But now question if internet is down in our local lan than how can we access this  website in local lan.

Below is the screen how I make IIS configuration

You need to ensure whatever you use for DNS resolution can resolve xyz.com when the internet is unavailable.  You can add xyz.com on your internal DNS servers with the same ip addresses, or an internal address.   As long as the bindings accept IP requests for internal and public ip's, you should be all set.
