  can't add remote site HELP!! Reply Contact  (sorry to poor english, but I couldn't find this solution in korean communities.) Server : Windows 2008 SP2 & IIS 7.0 Client : Windows XP SP3, .NET framework installed 3.5, IIS Manager 7.0 (both used korean language)   I turned on WMSVC and authoring rules set to "Windows user and IIS User") and added 1 IIS user, and authorized to web site.  and, I checked firewall opened wmsvc service port.(8172) but client can't connect server to host with this message "Microsoft.Web.Management.Remoting.HttpChannel" Exception Throwed. Is that client problem? or server problem?

Reply Contact  I connected from localhost and workgroup client it works fine, but, I can't understand reason of httpchannel exception on remote home pc, I checked wmsvc log but not logged from home pc. It seems  to couldn't find this server. so, I checked different value in server name or user name, it shown same error(httpchannel exception).  I think it's client problem,  isn't it? home pc found my server via http,ftp,etc. and works fine.
