I have a .Net 1.1 application that I am trying to install. I have followed the instructions from
and everything appears fime from that..
The problem that I am running into is that when I "Convert to Application" I am no longer allowed to access any of the settings for that app/folder in IIS. I get a '\\?\C:\windows\system32\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.config
In Event Viewer, under the Application log I see "Error: The Template Persistent Cache initialization failed for Application Pool 'ASP.NET 1.1' because of the following error: Could not create a Disk Cache Sub-directory for the Application
Pool. The data may have additional error codes.."
This is not happening for "Classic .NET" apps and if I make the folder no longer a app, I can access the settings again.
