    Mojo Portal Installation

I have problem installing Mojo Portal the error is:

    Windows PowerShell
This product did not installed successfully.
SQL Server 2008 Management Studio Express
This product cannot be installed because a product that it depends on did not install successfully.

I have PowerShell installed but the "Web Installer" try to install PowerShell again.

    Pleasee advise,

    Hi Netwizard,

This typically occurs when there is a conflicting vesion of Powershell installed on the machine. If you see a version under Add Remove Programs  under  Windows Updates then remove this then retry the SQL installation.

    Thanks,

     Richard

You are correct but Windows PowerShell does not appears in the Add Remove Programs, I did check the Updated box and WPS is not there, but I can open it. The WPS is in my computer but I am not be able to remove it.

If you dont see this listed as Windows PowerShell(TM) 1.0,  or possibly kb  926139  the following article may describe why you dont have a removal listed. This can occur   if you apply a service pack over the powershell installation

Windows PowerShell 1.0 English Language Installation Packages for Windows Server 2003 and for Windows XP
