  How can I use the IIS 7 Powershell snap-in with Windows 7? Reply Contact I tried installing the IIS 7 Powershell snap-in (both 32 and 64 bit versions) on Windows 7, but I just get the message: "The PowerShell snap-in is part of Windows Operating System. Please install it via "Programs and Features' or 'Server Manager'." I've looked in "Programs and Features", but I can't see any options relating to it.

IIS PowerShell snapin (module, actually) is part of default setup of IIS. So, to enable it in PowerShell session you need to run command "import-module WebAdministration". That's it.   --Sergei

However, the machine that we've got Windows 7 on has had a number of hardware issues, so it's possible that one of the crashes has corrupted some bit of the software.  We'll stick the RC on it soon, so I'll try again after we've done that.
