    cable modem and seperate server

    hello,

                     My setup is a cable modem that goes directly into a server with server 2003 and i use ICS (Internet Conection Shareing). Then out from the server to the switches. from there i have another server that i want to intend to be used for IIS that is connected to the switch. I setup IIS on that webserver machiene but when i go to my domain it says it cannot be found. any help will be appreaciated!

    You need to change your network structure.  The way it's configured, server 1 would need to proxy server 2.  You could use a proxy like Microsoft's ISA server, but it's better to have your cable modem off the switches and all servers can access it directly.

    Of course this also depends on your router and whether you have more than one public IP available.  Consult a decent networking book or site for help.
