There is no "designated directory" option in IIS 6.  You have Directory on this system, Share or Redirect.  Redirect has no browse button.  Are you logged in as a local admin?

Look for Wrox's new book Professional IIS 7 in your local bookstore, or order now at Amazon.com

Strange - are you logged on with an account that is a member of the local administrators group?  How did you create the site?

Hi, In IIS-Website-properties- Homedirectorytab , Hope you can see " The content for this resource should come from " try to change the radio button select first option. It will be a strange thing if u dont find this too......then the issue may be out of my knowledge.
