OT: Recovering files/folders deleted by PHP process?

Hi All: I have a client with server2008 running PHP5.2.5. They had some PHP code to create and delete folders which ran wild and deleted a whole directory of folders and files.

Obviously they are not in the "trash", but I'm wondering if there's any way to recover them that someone could recommend?

I tried "freeUndelete" but anything it can recover loses it's name and filetype...are there any other undelete products that someone has used/recommend?

    Hello,

You could check here - http://www.uneraser.com/

You could also try searching in Google for some free software. I recommend you to create a back up next time.

    Regards

Thanks...I stumbled across "recover my files" which looks like it might work as well.

Turn on shadow copies for the next time this happens.  And make frequent backups.  And spank the PHP developer.  Even if it's not his fault, it will make you feel better.
