I got a few reports (pasted below) that sessions to our web-server have been disconnected and after that people have not been able to login. However major part of the users still manage to get in alright.
The ones with problem report that their local support has run some microsoft updates to them, but they don't know what updates have been done. No other changes had been done to the users computers.
Any idea what could have caused this kinda of sittuation? Any new updates to IE 7 that would tighten the security on certificates? If it is due part some update we could have major problem on our hands if the others get the same update.
Our root certificate is not known to Microsoft without user installing it to the trusted certificates.
Here is the error message...
Network Error (ssl_server_cert_untrusted_issuer)
Your request contacted a host which presented a certificate signed by an untrusted issuer.
This is typically caused by a Web Site presenting an incorrect or invalid certificate, but could be because of a configuration error.
For assistance, contact your network support team.
