  rlucero Joined on 09-29-2006, 3:35 PM Seattle, WA Posts 164	Re: Could not load file or assembly Microsoft.Web.Administration Reply Contact Hmm, I don't think you can 'install' IIS7 on XP.  Did you mean that you installed the Remote Manager software on XP ?  In ordre for you to use the Administration Pack you need to install it on your acutally Windows 2008 Server and then you can use the Remote Manager for IIS7 to get the client pieces on your XP machine.

  rlucero Joined on 09-29-2006, 3:35 PM Seattle, WA Posts 164	Re: Could not load file or assembly Microsoft.Web.Administration Reply Contact Alright, there is no way that you can install IIS 7 on XP.  You can install Internet Information Services 7.0 Manager  on XP.  Administration pack requires Windows Server 2008 to be installed.  In order for Admin Pack to work on the Manager it has to be installed on the server you are connecting to.
