I have recently discovered that I have 4GB worth of .cab files in:
According to MS this is:
"The signoff queue is used for reports that the user has not seen before. Ship assert reports are sent to the signoff queue.
Signoff queue CAB files and instruction files are stored in this folder"
I've taken a look at their corresponding .txt file that gives details about the error, here's a snippet;
Details_Sig_Body=EventType : clr20r3 P1 : w3wp.exe P2 : 6.0.3790.3959 P3 : 45d6968e
P4 : mscorlib P5 : 18.104.22.168 P6 : 471ebc5b P7 : 3a54 P8 : f1
P9 : system.invalidoperationexception
EventLogSource=.NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting
General_AppName=IIS Worker Process
Final_Link=Prevent this problem in the future
I do recognise these from the event log. Ideally I'd like to find the cause but there are quite a few of these errors and a fair few sites on the server that could be causing the issue.
If anyone can advise how to troubleshoot this efficiently then that would be great, if not, can anyone advise whether I can delete these files to clear the space without consequence.
* The only other mention of QSIGNOFF in the forum is here:
I'm familiar with using Debug Diagnostic and could certain get the output from that, if that is of any help.
