What I'd like to get setup is NTLM username to be passed to PHP, if there is one.

So that, if a user is logged into a workstation on our AD domain, their username is passed to IIS > PHP so that I know who is already logged in, for SSO. However, if they are not on the domain (eg. viewing from the outside, Web) that nothing is passed to IIS > PHP and there is no login prompt for the user. Is this possible? Yesterday I set up IIS with the FTP and HTTP feature.
Followed a few guides I found on the Internet:

http://www.mvps.org/marksxp/WindowsXP/IIS/iis1.php &
http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=1491&page=2

My problem is that I am asked to enter a username and password when you try to browse the HTTP or FTP sites.

I can fiddle around with the account settings and change the username/password but it still won't be accepted.

What should I do? I wish to have an account, say admin, with all rights available for the FTP. Noone else should be able
to log in. Same thing for the HTTP, but anonymous users should be able to read/enter the website but not be able to touch
anything. Is this possible?

Cheers and any help at all is appreciated!
// Zolomon

VS 2005 web app Login control problem.
