I want tu actiavte the LDAP authentification for PHP 5 on my IIS 7 Server. I copied the php_ldap.dll from my xampp installation at home to my server´s PHP5 ext direcotry and ad it to the extensions at the end of the php.ini file:

[PHP_LDAP]
extension=php_ldap.dll

However, if I start the phpinfo() function the LDAP extension is not shown, however at home with XAMPP it is shown. What can be the problem, does the IIS7 Server needs another version of the php_ldap.dll file?

I hope someone can help me!

A default installation will be installed with a virtual directory called secure that points to the root of the site. (Both the root and /secure are pointing to the same physical location).

The cms system also handles sub-sites (www.foo.com/subsite), that also uses virtual directories to point the /subsite virtual folder to the root.

Problem is that I'm running in to all sorts of problems with the web config, and right now I'm at a loss on how to solve this issue. I can get the defualt website up, but then I cannot access /secure and vice versa.

(The CMS is our own system and I can modify the code to some extent, but to rewrite the entire site handling is quite a big task)

Anyone who have experience with this, or has any helpful suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Regards Niklas

IIS7 with PHP and ASP.NET framework Ports

<cs:applicationKey>iis7_-_configuration__scripting-41</cs:applicationKey>

I haven't even begun to scratch the surface with IIS7 but I have installed PHP with FastCGI and don't have any problems on Vista Ultimat 64Bit SP2.

The site's web.config is not updated after running the command. The issue feels like a file permissions thing, but I haven't been able to find any details related to the error code. A few notes:

* "SiteName" and "sqlConnectionString" are dummy values for the purpose of this post.
* The command prompt is being run as Administator
* The account logged in is in the Administrators group
* The site's web.config file permissions are set to full control for System, Administrator, Users, and IIS_IUSRS (as a test)
* The WWW Publishing service is in the stopped state
* Environment is Windows Server 2008 64bit
