Problem getting GoDaddy Cert accepted

Sorry Im new to this forum so not quite sure of the etiquette here or exactly where and how to post.

Setup is

2008 svr with Exchange 2007.

Went to

To create the Cert request for a UCC CERT request and followed the instructions to the letter.
Bought the UCC Cert though from godaddy as a lot cheaper,
Followed GoDaddys instructions to the letter to install the cert

But each time I get to Point 7
of
Installing the SSL Certificate

I get the following error message

CertEnroll::CX509Enrollment::p_InstallResponse: ASN1 bad tag value met. 0x08009310b (ASN: 267

HOWEVER
I was unaware at the time that someone had an outstanding cert request they had created for the same common name of mail.domain.com as I have used but they had created the request on the same server I'am trying to import this UCC Cert from Godaddy. Their cert request was for the same install as mine but they never mentioned it to me until after I created and had paid for the godaddy cert via the method at

Not sure if this has a bearing on the error Im now getting, but thought it best to mention this.

Hopefully Ive given enough info for someone to be able to help me with this error please.

PHP pages always shown as text

I am a developer who attempting to write my first web based app. I have been trying to get Vista (service pack 2), IIS 7, PHP, MySQL environment up for two days now and the imprint of the brick wall on my forehead is in danger of becoming permanent. I have followed the process as described on a number of sites to activate IIS, install PHP and MySQL and then get into the setup process. I can browse to http://localhost and see the default IIS page, so ISS seems to be running. I can run php -info in the command prompt so that seems to be there. I have installed FastCGI and done the the Handler Mapping stuff and made sure that the FastCGI handler is first in the list. I have double clicked both the php.exe and php-cgi.exe out of frustration and both initially reported an error because ntwdblib.dll was not there, so it has been copied into the PHP folder. I have uninstalled everything and reinstalled it multiple times and rebooted many many times.

No matter what I do, whenever I point my browser at a .php file in the wwwroot directory, I simply get the code as text back rather than the PHP created page.

Can someone save my sanity?

Hi,

We run logging of 404 and 500 errors on IIS 6. The value for Request.ServerVariables("server_name") is sometimes spoofed by some "bots".

How do they do that?

How can I detect and block it?

WPI + VMware Server 2008 = Error - solved

may someone had the same Error, and can help me with this,

i've an VMware ESXi Server 3.5, and a Server 2008 Installation, however, i can't start the WPI launcher. there's allways the internetopenurl failure.

When i've installed the WPI on a Pysical Server, it runs, if i convert this physical Installation 1:1 to the VMware, there's the error again - don't know, what i can do anymore to run it.

Hi,

After a long time I am again facing the similar problem. I have IIS filter which reads Metabase entries. When I set the App pool identity of my website to Local System / Administrator, it is able to read the Metabase key LM/W3SVC/1/*. However if I set it to "Network Service", it fails and returns error code E_ACCESSDENIED.

Using the Metabase explorer I tried giving read permission to everyone, still no success.

I am not sure where I am wrong. This reading of key was working fine in IIS 6.0. With addded security in IIS 7.0 it fails. Please guide to resolve this issue.

Windows File & Printer Sharing over the Internet using Dynamic DNS

The domain livewire.getmyip.com is a domain configured for dynamic DNS and is working properly.

How do I setup IIS7 so that when I go to http://livewire.getmyip.com it will prompt the windows authentication and then I can open & save files and add printers in the public folder in my computer. Just like when you go click on "Network" in the start menu and click on a computer in your LAN.

Under the Network and Sharing Center I currently have Network Discovery on, file sharing on, public folder sharing on (password required), printer sharing on(password required), password protected sharing on, and media sharing on.

I currently have IIS7 installed and when I go to http://localhost it shows the IIS7 start page. It does not show the start page when trying to go through the domain livewire.getmyip.com. I have the proper router port forwarding configurations in place.

I tried simply using the file protocol (file://livewire.getmyip.com) but that gives me an error and when I use Windows Diagnostic it just says that the host is not properly configured.

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit.

What do I need to do in order to get the File & Printer Sharing to work, just as it does in a LAN, over the internet using a domain name.

Regarding #2: I think this can be prevented by setting fastcgi.logging=0 in php.ini.

iisadmin startup fails with 0x80090006 (NTE_BAD_SIGNATURE)

Hi, all

I tried to start IISADMIN with 'net start iisadmin' but it fails with following error code.

sc query iisadmin

Error code I got is 0x80090006 (NTE_BAD_SIGNATURE) which generated by SSPI facility.

Do you have any idea what is this error about?

One more thing, I'd like to debug the start up IISADMIN service (which is inetinfo.exe) with more detailed trace. Does anyone know what can be the best one for me? I already tried ETW, but it didn't seem to work for me.
