Bug: Duplicate Report Name & Removing Reports

I just rank across a bug in Toolkit 1.0 where if you remove reports from the list, and then create a new analysis with the same name it causes issues. The new analysis will run, however after it was finished, and you hit Ok it gives the message "A repotr with the name 'Contempo New' already exists. Please specify a different name". The problem becomes the name box is grayed out, and the cursor is the Vista spinning thinking wheel. It would be nice to be able to edit the name, time to rerun a 28:50 report...

Bug: 404 Pages Report Too Much Data

This is a semi followup to my bug about 404 pages showing up as duplicates. On top of that they can show up for other validation issues, for instances if a custom error page (or no default error page) has no meta description it reports as DescriptionMissing instead of being excluded from the report other then under 404 pages.

Bug: 404 Error != Duplicate Content

Of all the errors in this software (which there are considerably less of in Beta 2) this is my biggest beef. If a page or image is missing it should be considered a broken hyperlink, or error not as duplicate content. The current behavior of the website makes it very hard to analysis a massive site that has a lot of broken resources, it would make more sense to have them in separate locations rather then telling me a .js can be referenced the same way as a .pdf, .gif, .png, and whatever else may be missing on a website. 0x80004005 error IIS6 PHP ISAPI

I've been having odd problems with PHP for some time now while running it in ISAPI mode or FastCGI for that matter. I get errors in FastCGI outputted ot the user with the same 80004005 error code as ISAPI seems to show in this. I've managed to capture a mini dump out of the blue for a second chance exception since apparently first chance exceptions are too common(?)

Now, does any one have any clue what the begeezers is going on? I'm not even sure if I did the debugging process correctly, but so far it looks like what everyone else supplied. Is this an IIS issue or is it a PHP issue? For those of you who skimmed over the opening statement I have used FastCGI in IIS6 and the same problem exists. The only difference is it just gives an even more generic process unexpectedly exited error.

Custom HttpModule configuration - bug with managed requests

I'm running Asp.net MVC application. By default web.config sets all modules to run for all requests which I disabled. I have a custom HttpModule that's responsible for authentication of managed requests.

Part of my web.config looks like this:

<modules> <add name="CustomAuth" type="..." preCondition="managedHandler" /> </modules>

Then I try to access my site via http://localhost/default.aspx
All works fine. My Handler gets invoked since IIS integrated pipeline thinks it's managed request. Great.

Then I try to access my site via http://localhost/
Suddenly IIS7 thinks this is <b>not managed request</b>. So I put default.aspx on top of Default documents, to convince IIS that this is in did managed request, but to no avail... This request should be treated as managed so this is a bug. I should point out, that I'm using NetFx 3.5 SP1. As I've read elsewhere, this used to work before.

So I would like to:

configure IIS (via management UI or web.config) to run modules certain modules only for managed requests and not for static content as well
avoid configuring running all modules on all requests

I guess the culprit is StaticFile module. Could I use UrlRewriting module because (AFAIK) it executes before StaticFile module? Any other suggestion? Could I reorder handlers so another handler would execute before StaticFile that would make it possible to treat folder requests as managed content based on default document.

RFC 3986 vs RFC 2396: relative URL resolution with only query component

The problem is pretty simple, but it makes loads of things completely incorrect in the report for my website.

According to RFC 2396 (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2396#appendix-C), http://example.com/foo containing a link to "?bar" means http://example.com/?bar. This is what the Site Analysis uses. This is not how browsers resolve this!

According to RFC 3986 (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3986#section-5.4), which obsoletes 2396, the link "?bar" means http://example.com/foo?bar. This is what all web browsers do.

Please correct the relative URL resolution to match browser behaviour and the most current standards. (Heaven forbid you did this deliberately to match the same bug in any/all search engines.)

lastmod datetime invalid according to google

When submitting a SEO Toolkit generated sitemap to google, I get a warning about the lastmod tag invalid date

looking at the w3c specs:

      YYYY (eg 1997)
      YYYY-MM (eg 1997-07)
      YYYY-MM-DD (eg 1997-07-16)
      YYYY-MM-DDThh:mmTZD (eg 1997-07-16T19:20+01:00)
      YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ssTZD (eg 1997-07-16T19:20:30+01:00)
      YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.sTZD (eg 1997-07-16T19:20:30.45+01:00)
these are the possible combo's

SEO toolkit does: 2009-06-07T15:54:34 and is missing TZS= time zone designator (Z or +hh:mm or -hh:mm)

So pretty much a extra Z in the end would fix this.

{R:1} Always returns default.aspx

Hello,

1.) I am finding the module very buggy. Both 1.0 and 1.1. Sometimes when I write a rule and use "{R:1}" it returns "default.aspx". That is a file that does not exist anywhere on my server or in any of my rules. When I test the rule in IIS console it works fine. It does not work in any browser though. I know I am loading the correct URL in my browser because there is only one web site on my server, and some of the rules work. So I know I am loading the correct URL. The rewrite is triggered. However, I get a 404 because it is always using "default.aspx" instead of the value in R:1.

2.) I used to have a application folder called "cart" with a file named "default.aspx" and I deleted it several days ago. I restarted IIS and my server. Yet sometimes the rewrite rules will randomly try to redirect to a folder called "cart". There is only one web.config on my server so there is no mistake.

I have searched for other web.config files that may exist, but there are none. I can not for the life of me figure out where IIS is getting their data from.

The "wizard" in IIS for testing rules works perfectly. It just does not work when I load the URL in the browser. So IIS seems to at least understand the rules somewhat. It just doesnt work in the browser.

Does this make sense to anyone? Is there some sort of cache somewhere?

How do you unlock configuration data using the IIS Powershell snapin.

I want to be able to unlock some sections in particular the module, security among others

This is the XML data I'd like to be able to set using the cmdlets

This works with Set/Get-WebConfigurationProperty
(Get-WebConfiguration -filter /system.webServer/directoryBrowse).enabled
Get-WebConfigurationProperty -filter /system.webServer/directoryBrowse -name enabled

But neither of these do

Get-WebConfigurationProperty -filter /system.webServer/modules -name OverrideMode

Set-WebConfigurationProperty -filter /system.webServer/modules -name OverrideMode -value $false

The error I get back is
WARNING: Property OverrideMode is not found on /system.webServer/modules.

This property is there I can see using either of these methods

Get-WebConfiguration -Filter /system.webServer/modules | fl *
(Get-WebConfiguration -Filter /system.webServer/modules).OverrideMode

I'm having similar difficulties modifying the Security and other sections

Is this a bug? Please let me know what I'm doing wrong and how I can set these
