Problems with ExecuteGlobal in VBScript on IIS 5.1 but not 6.0

What setting might be missing or misapplied that would cause the same code that works on an IIS 6.0 server to fail on an IIS 5.1 server?

I've inherited this large Classic ASP application. It "caches" a series of files with funcitons in them using the ExecuteGlobal command. On both server, the command executes without error. However, when the application later tries to reference the functions that were 'cached', IIS 6.0 seems to work just fine while IIS 5.1 acts as though those functions never existed and I get errors to that effect.

The 5.1 system is for testing purposes on an XP Pro box. The 6.0 is our production system on Windows 2003.

It's taken a long time to isolate the problem (identical code failing in test but working in production) to this code. Setting up another server isn't an option unfortunately (budget restraints - no money to pay the support people or to rent space where all servers must be physically located - military installation).

What directions have I missed looking into?

I too have similar problem.

I've DW CS3 installed in System with Win XP as OS (IIS 6).

After installing DW CS4 trial version, I'm getting the following
error in my website.

Error Type:

Active Server Pages, ASP 0129 (0x80004005)

The scripting language 'jscript' is not found on the server.
/includes/tNG/tNG.inc.asp, line 195

The website was working fine earlier and the contents in the
live server is working fine.

DW CS4 has disturbed the existing one... Now I uninstalled DW CS4
and reinstalled DW CS3 again.

But the problem persists....

Help me pls..

Really Odd Asp 0223 error

Ive just come up against something really strange, seriously hoping somebody can shed a little light cos im as confused as hell

this html:

TypeLib Not Found

METADATA tag contains a Type Library specification that does not match any Registry entry.

there are literally thousands of .asp pages running ok, but not this one, if i remove all html from the page it loads, and even stripping it back to purely the <html> tags still produces an error

ive tried to search for the global.asa file and i dont seem to get any results

its iis6 on server2k3 standard

Cany anyone help?
