Raid Swap = Email Program Lag ...?

I have this ridiculous problem, and would appreciate your thoughts.

Summary:

We have a simple (ASP.NET) email program that 1) Queries the MSSQL database for valid names and emails. Then 2) Sends an email to each email.
For the last 2-3 years, this has taken 5-10 minutes to run.
On 11/15 one of the hard drives failed during a windows update (or check?)
On the 11/19 at 6:09 AM, The hard drive and raid driver was swapped (after some difficulty). The rebuild apparently didn't work. The drive took 3 tries to rebuild (over the next 4 days).
Since that date, our email program now takes 45-70 minutes to run.

I have had the server guys and ASP.NET guys look over everything, and "nothing's wrong"

To keep this short, I will just say: I need to fix this, and appreciate any thoughts you may have.

IIS profiling

H everyone, I'd like to know if it is possible to maintain IIS profiling system using .NET based application, is there any chance of writing something like that (think of system that will work like mssql profiling) Many thanks Giorgi

Dll seems had be exec, but don't do correct action ,

is any limit for socket ? i had close firewall too.

but packet is not send for my expected.

Obscure error when loading .NET pages w/ IIS 5.1

I've set up IIS 5.1 to successfully host my html and classic asp pages, but the moment I try to access a asp.net page I get the following error

Unhandled exception at 0x7100c18c in inetinfo.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000004.

Nobody seems to have a solution for this - I've searched for days. I re-registered .NET with IIS using the aspnet_regiis.exe -i command, I've toyed with all types of security settings and yet NOTHING seems to fix this. I even totally reinstalled IIS.

Does anybody out there have any inkling on how to resolve this?

Rewriting The Header status code ?

When i access a http.//....../images/ URL from browser i get following header

HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
Content-Length: 1635
Content-Type: text/html
Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0
X-Powered-By: ASP.NET
Date: Wed, 30 Sep 2009 07:55:44 GMT

as the Images folder in hidden directory.

Now i need to rewrite the status code in Header as 404 - not found ( App scan standard says that issue a 404 command for hidden directory).

Is there any way to rewrite this HTTPStatus code in IIS???

First Installation Fails

I just installed wpilauncher for the first time. After going through the tedious task of providing user names and passwords for a platoons worth of people it informed me that the product had been previously installed. I found this a novel means of getting software is installed. This Hard Drive has only been installed for about 4 day, and this was my first installation of any of the MSDN offerings. Could you use this new technology to install Windows 7 for me.

My webserver which is hosting multiple site on IIS 6.0 is getting stucked after few hours..the static pages is coming from webserver but the pages whic are dynamic is not responding..it again comes up only when we recycle the Application pool for the sites from IIS..

Asp.net framework2.0, SQL server2005 and IIS6.0

Hey Guys,

I know this is a really common error, and you must be bored of troubleshooting it by now! But here's the situation I have:

I created an "Asp.Net Web application" for .Net 2.0 using visual studio 2008. I then set up IIS on my local machine (XP SP2), and it runs the website fine.

Once I copy the files over to a folder on another machine (running windows server 2003), and set it up with identical settings, I get the error:

The strange thing is, Default.aspx is my home page, which sets some variables, then redirects to Home.aspx (using Response.Redirect("~/Home.aspx");) without displaying anything to the user. This implies that IIS is finding Default.aspx, then failing to use the redirect.

I have tried other solutions I have come across on the internet, including checking for a trailing / in the local path setting, and ensuring web extensions are enabled.

The log file shows this:

Which implies to me that it finds Default.aspx successfully (code 302), but not /Home.aspx (404)

Any thoughts?
